He has garnered two Giant Screen Cinema Association Awards for Best Large Format Cinematography, for JERUSALEM (2014) and NATIONAL PARKS ADVENTURE (2016).
CUBA won Best Documentary at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. He directed the giant screen IMAX film CUBA, which was produced in association with BBC Earth and distributed by Giant Screen Films. A pioneer in the use of large format 3D motion-control time-lapse capture systems, his cinematography for IMAX and giant screens includes National Geographic’s JERUSALEM, PANAMA, MacGillivray Freeman’s NATIONAL PARKS ADVENTURE, and PLANET POWER. Peter founded Golden Gate 3D in order to fully engage and explore the potential of immersive media.
